Earth Day – April 22, 2010

It’s the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day!  Hard to believe.  We’re conscious of the individual effort that each of us can make and Silver Tips will participate by raising the awareness of Organic food.  We will serve Makaibari Organic tea (Black, Green, Oolong and Silver Tips) at a special discounted price all day and have the beautiful coffee table book, “The Rajah of Darjeeling” available for sale at a bargain basement price of $10. 

The earth is ours and we are its custodians.  At Silver Tips, we have changed all our copy paper to earth-friendly content, our packing peanuts are biodegradable, our sample cups are green, our paper towels are recycled, our water is from the faucet, not a bottle and our electricity is 100% green.  All of us together can make a difference.  Celebrate Earth Day – honor it.
