Christmas & Chocolate

Our warehouse/logistics partners sent us a huge gift basket of Godiva chocolates.  There was a small tussle to see who tore into it first!  I guess they know what we like.  Our landlord, Mack-Cali also sent us a magnificent box of solid milk and dark chocolate with their logo on each piece.  Very classy!  We’re not quite as well-planned and prepared.  Our gifts will be delivered with New Year’s greetings! 

We’re almost done with our Christmas rush of orders and today is the last shipping day and believe it or not, people are still ordering.  Our Tea Room is very busy with customers buying last minute gifts, lots of loose leaf teas and numerous gift certificates.  We sent over reinforcements a little while ago – both teas and people to help out.  We’re open every day but Christmas although we will close early tomorrow.  One particular gentleman has visited us every year for the past 6 years almost as we’re closing the doors on Christmas Eve with a request for gift baskets for his mother and sister.  We have a bet to see if he will come each year.  So far, we’ve won.  Let’s see if he keeps up the routine this year.  Merry Christmas to everyone.
