New York Gift Show

CIMG1021Each year, we visit the New York Gift Show in August at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.  We usually skip the January one but attend the one in August to look for treasures for the upcoming holiday season.  Not too many new things this year but Rodney and Jacque found a few interesting things.  One is this neat packaging option – comes in umpteen shapes and colors and could work very well for a gift basket.  Something different from the usual box, wicker or bamboo basket, wood tray or metal/wire basket.

There were several new patterns in china and porcelain - both individual pieces and sets – we may consider some of these, if the price is right.
